While old age is often associated with pessimistic and cranky mood, there are also people who never get old and instead just grow constantly and become wiser with each day. Alice Herz-Sommer, 109-year-old Holocaust survivor is a great example of human power, strength and how happiness really is a personal choice, not a matter of circumstances or destiny. If someone who has lived the horror of concentration camp together with her son, can “look for the good” in life, so can all of us.
